Chris Obi Soccer Academy (COSA) has been offering complete Developmental Soccer programs to youths of all soccer levels in Danbury, New Fairfield,  Westchester and Putnam counties since 2004

COSA is dedicated to developing young soccer players into skilled athletes while instilling values such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. With a focus on comprehensive training programs led by an ex-pro player and experienced coaches, the academy provides a supportive environment where players of all skill levels can thrive. Our curriculum emphasizes technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical fitness, ensuring each participant not only improves as a player but also grows as an individual. Designed for beginners/Intermediate players, this program focuses on improving technical skills, game intelligence, and overall performance in a fun, high-energy indoor environment. Led by ex-pro Chris Obi and experienced coaches, players receive personalized instruction to sharpen their footwork, passing, and finishing — all while building confidence and creativity on the ball. Perfect for supplemental training.

In-House Overview

• Professional training led by ex-professional player Chris Obi and licensed coaches

• Training at a top-notch indoor turf facility (no weather cancellations)

• Emphasis on technical development, confidence, and skill-building

• 10 officiated games per season (Spring & Fall)

• Summer season includes 5 training/games

• Full COSA uniform package included (jersey, shorts, socks)

• Top-performing graduates earn direct placement into COSA Premier teams or Stars FC, with progression into Travel, Premier, and EDP competition

Orientation / Evaluation (Registered Players Only) March 20th @ 6:00 PM

2nd Orientation + Uniform Distribution April 3rd, 2026 @ 6:00 PM
All accepted players will receive a Welcome Package

 

Pre-Season Training Begins:  Fridays 6pm - April 17th, Sunday 1pm 19th and Friday 24th.

Spring Season Trainings: April 17, 19, 24,May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, June 5, 12.

Spring Season League Games: April 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, June 7, 14.

Summer Season Schedule: TBD.
